FAQ
My fee is $250 for a 50-minute individual session. I believe therapy should be accessible, and I hold a limited number of reduced-fee spots.
I do not accept insurance directly. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Depending on your health plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement, often as a percentage of the fee. I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to learn more about your specific benefits.
Most sessions are 50 minutes. At times, longer sessions may be helpful, especially for EMDR or deeper somatic work that benefits from more space and time. Extended sessions can also be useful during particularly difficult periods when you may want additional support. If this feels like it could be helpful, we can discuss what length of session best supports your needs.
In the beginning I recommend weekly sessions. Consistency helps build momentum, creates a strong foundation for the work, and gives you the space to stay connected with the process. Over time, we can adjust the frequency depending on your needs and what feels most supportive.
Yes, I offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Virtual therapy is available throughout California. In-person sessions are held in a welcoming office on Motor Avenue in West Los Angeles, between Venice and Palms Boulevards, close to the 10 and 405 Freeways for easy access.
Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes you cry without knowing exactly why. Sometimes words come that you didn’t even know were waiting. This is the kind of space where what has been carried quietly for so long can finally be heard. Therapy with me is a place where depth, warmth, and curiosity come together to support your healing
The first step is to reach out and schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to talk about what you are looking for and to see if working together feels like the right fit. If it does, we will schedule your first weekly session and begin the process.
My practice is dedicated to individual adults, ages 18 and older. This is the work I feel most called to and where my experience is focused. If you are seeking therapy for children, teens, or couples, I would be glad to share referrals to colleagues I trust who specialize in those areas.
(And often, the children and teenagers you once were find their way into the room, and they are welcome too.)
I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Without that notice, the full session fee is charged. I understand that unexpected emergencies happen, and if something comes up, we can talk about it.
Yes. What you share in therapy is kept private. The only exceptions are rare situations where I am legally required to break confidentiality to keep you or someone else safe. If this ever became necessary, I would be open and transparent with you.
I am not able to provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You deserve immediate support in moments of crisis, and help is available. You can call or text 988 at any time to connect with the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, which is available 24 hours a day.
