PEOPLE I WORK WITH
Identity and Experience

I work with individuals who are:

-
Adults (18+)
-
Older adults (65+)

I work with adults of all ages who are navigating the challenges and complexities of being human. Many of the people I see are moving through:

-
Trauma and its lasting effects
-
Grief and loss
-
Anxiety, depression, and overwhelm
-
Chronic pain or illness
-
Addiction and substance use
-
Life transitions and stressors
-
Relationship and family challenges
-
Questions of identity, confidence, and self-worth

I especially enjoy working with individuals at the intersection of cultures, with those who identify as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), empaths, and creatives. These qualities often come with unique challenges, but I see them as deep strengths that can guide you toward a more meaningful and peaceful life.

As an inclusive therapist, I welcome people from all backgrounds and communities. My work is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice. I have particular experience supporting clients navigating racial trauma and living with physical disabilities, and I am LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirmative.

APPROACH TO TREATMENT
Types of Therapy
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Together, we’ll create an approach that meets your specific needs, experiences, and goals.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, always with a trauma-informed lens. I integrate somatic and mindfulness-based practices to help you connect with your body and nervous system, and I draw on attachment-based and narrative approaches to support healing in relationships with yourself and others.
I also incorporate specialized modalities, including:

-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to process trauma and build emotional regulation.
-
Somatic Experiencing to help release trauma held in the body and restore nervous system balance.
-
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to reduce or even resolve chronic pain when it is linked to the brain and nervous system.
Above all, I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is the most important factor in healing. I approach my work with authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where you are not alone and we walk together as you cultivate greater self-compassion, peace, and resilience.

MOVING FORWARD
Beginning Therapy
If you find yourself here, something in you may be ready for change. Reaching out can feel uncertain, yet it is also a quiet act of care.

In our work, there is space for all of you. The parts that feel strong, the parts that feel exhausted, and the parts that ache to be seen all have a place here. Together we will listen closely to what your body and heart are carrying. We will move gently with what feels overwhelming and begin to soften the patterns that have kept you in survival mode.
Healing becomes possible when your story, your feelings, and your inner life are met with compassion. You do not have to hold it all alone.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation call so we can explore how I may support you.
